Nota Claims Itumeleng Bokaba May Have Violated Protection Order
Nota Baloyi Faces Legal Challenges Amidst Ongoing Court Cases

Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi, the former artist manager, recently appeared at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court for a review of a protection order filed by actress Itumeleng Bokaba, who has accused him of rape.
This court appearance comes shortly after his early release from jail for contempt of court related to his comments about Ntokozo “K.O” Mdluli and the tragic death of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.
The outspoken Nota arrived at court with his legal representative, seeking a review of the protection order.
He has requested that Bokaba refrain from mentioning his name on social media or being in close proximity to him.
Nota alleges that Bokaba violated the existing order by discussing him in a social media video, where she reportedly spoke about how the alleged incident affected her mental health and career.
The court has postponed the case to 13 December 2024 to allow for replies to affidavit submissions.
In October, Nota voluntarily handed himself over to authorities in connection with the rape case, spending three nights in custody before being granted R5,000 bail.
He has denied the allegations, claiming their encounter was consensual and alleging that Bokaba attempted to blackmail him into promoting her music.
“This has been one of the most painful experiences of my life,” Nota shared, expressing hope for vindication.
The ongoing legal battles continue to draw public attention, with Nota maintaining his innocence and seeking to clear his name amidst the controversy.
