Zola Mhlongo Shines in Radio and TV While Fans React to Her Controversial Role

Zola Mhlongo, a well-known South African radio presenter, actress, and media personality, is making waves in the entertainment industry.

The 31-year-old stars in Mzansi Magic’s My Brother’s Keeper and co-hosts the weekend breakfast show on Metro FM.

While listeners love her on the radio, her character Nkosazana on My Brother’s Keeper has sparked strong reactions.

Fans have mixed feelings about her role, where she plays a woman who started as a secret lover and later became a potential second wife.

Zola has embraced the attention, saying, “My character is special, and I love playing her. It’s a blessing to evoke such emotions. All the hate just shows how powerful the storyline is.”

Zola’s Metro FM show, co-hosted with Somizi Mhlongo, Andile Ncube, and Keorapetse Hlope, is also a hit.

Their videos of dancing in the studio, shared on social media, have gone viral, adding fun to the show’s nostalgic golden oldies segment. “The show is put together by a talented team, and we want to create memorable radio for our listeners,” she shared.

Beyond TV and radio, Zola is working on multiple projects. “Check out How to Manifest A Man, another show I’m on, and Undefined Shapes, my shapewear company. Plus, Show Me Your Funny is coming soon. I’m grateful for all the love and support,” she added
