Tragic N2 Crash in KwaZulu-Natal Claims Lives of School Children
Learners Among Eight Dead In N2 Mandeni Collision
A devastating accident on the N2 in Mandeni, northern KwaZulu-Natal, claimed the lives of eight people, including children, after a collision between a truck and a vehicle transporting school pupils.
The tragic incident occurred on Friday, causing the N2 to be shut down in both directions.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Samantha Meyrick, the collision was a head-on crash, with one critically injured survivor.

Search and rescue teams are still searching for missing children at the scene.
The N2 remains closed between Bridges 18 and 19 as emergency services continue their efforts.
