‘Why didn’t he marry her?’: Cassper’s Wife Pulane Shades Thobeka

Pulane Phoolo, formerly known as Pulane Mojaki, is making headlines for her bold responses regarding her marriage to rapper Cassper Nyovest.

Many believe her remarks are aimed at Cassper’s ex and baby mama, Thobeka Majozi, particularly following Thobeka’s emotional birthday post on October 2.

Thobeka celebrated her 32nd birthday by reflecting on a challenging few months, during which she dealt with her ex’s infidelity and her four-year-old son’s battle with cancer.

In her post, she accused Pulane of being the “other woman” who knowingly pursued a relationship with Cassper.

Cassper and Pulane tied the knot in a private ceremony in April. Shortly after Thobeka’s heartfelt post, Pulane engaged in a Q&A session on Instagram, where she addressed questions about her relationship with Cassper.

Her comments came off as a direct response to Thobeka’s struggles. When asked about the duration of her relationship before marrying Cassper, Pulane claimed, “He’s had a crush on me since I was in grade 7. I’ve been on and off with him since 2018/2019.”

Interestingly, Cassper started dating Thobeka in 2017 and announced their pregnancy in 2020, welcoming their son, Khotso, that September.

Pulane also revealed that Cassper encouraged her to quit her job and “be a housewife,” which attracted criticism online. She retorted, “Ok, then who was? And why didn’t he marry them?” punctuating her response with a laughing emoji.

On social media, many South Africans reacted with shock to Pulane’s seemingly shady responses. While she claims to be the first woman in Cassper’s life, it is alleged that he only began seeing her after his relationship with Thobeka.

Thobeka hinted at this in her Instagram post, stating, “I was hit with a curveball of infidelity. The woman knew me, and my son’s condition and made no mistake with flaunting their relationship.”

She added, “Considering everything we had been through, it was more about the timing than the infidelity. He later married her.”

As the drama unfolds, the tension between Pulane and Thobeka continues to capture the attention of fans and the media alike.
