Grandkids Plan T-Rex Surprise for Grandma at the Airport, But She Turns the Tables
Grandma Turns the Tables on T-Rex Surprise at Airport
A Jurassic greeting at Victoria International Airport continues to receive worldwide attention.
In June 2019, two boys planned a fun surprise for their grandmother by dressing in inflatable dinosaur costumes to greet her, mimicking a similar stunt she had pulled two years earlier in Toronto.

“They thought they were getting her back,” said their mother, Tabitha Cooper. “Little did they know she’d be dressed as a dinosaur as well.”
Grandma joined the boys as “grandma-saurus,” and the trio engaged in a comical parade of short-armed waves, dancing, and a warm group hug.
The playful encounter was captured on video, which has since gone viral and resurfaced on online platforms, even appearing on The Chive recently.
