Zanele Mbokazi’s Family Reportedly At War With Her Husband

The passing of Zanele Mbokazi has created tension within her family, leaving them divided and in disarray.

Her widower, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule, is eager to continue her legacy, but not all family members support his efforts.

Some relatives have even suggested that he return to his home country of eSwatini, raising questions about his place in the family after Zanele’s death.

A source revealed to Zimoja, “Some family members are questioning why he is still around because Zanele is no more; they even suggested that he go back to his country of birth. It’s heartbreaking that people would say that when he has built a life here.”

Despite the backlash, there are family members who support the bishop in carrying on Zanele’s legacy, particularly regarding the Crown Gospel Awards.

“Other family members will always have issues, especially when it comes to death and money. The bishop loved his wife. I guess every family has its own drama,” the source added.

Amid the family conflict, efforts are underway to create a united front to secure sponsorship for the upcoming Crown Gospel Awards, scheduled for November 17, as well as for other projects Zanele was involved in. The family hopes to honor her memory while navigating their differences.
