Penny Ntuli Opens Up About Being Trapped in Snowfall: “I’m So Hurt That People Lost Their Lives”

Penny Ntuli Shares Her Harrowing Experience of Being Trapped in South Africa’s Snowfall

South African radio personality Penny Ntuli recently opened up about her terrifying experience being trapped in heavy snowfall over the weekend.

The former Gagasi FM and current Jozi FM presenter revealed the ordeal that occurred on the N3 highway.

According to Fakazanews, Penny was deeply affected after learning that some of the people she was stuck with in the snow tragically passed away.

She was rushed to the hospital, where her family suspected she had developed hypothermia.

Reflecting on the experience, Penny said, “It wasn’t by our wisdom that we survived, but by God’s grace. The snow was as high as my vehicle’s door. I didn’t think we would make it. It breaks my heart that some people who were also trapped didn’t survive, some of whom were on their way to bury loved ones.”

A family member added that Penny began feeling unwell on the evening of Saturday, 21 September 2024, and although they managed to move the next morning, her condition worsened due to the cold, leading them to take her to her mother’s home for care.
