Murder-suicide: Two Gauteng traffic police officers found shot dead
Two off-duty Gauteng traffic officers were found dead at Debonair Park in De Deur on Saturday, 17 August.
According to reports, the officers, who were allegedly a couple, had been at an after-tears event where they reportedly had a disagreement.

Gunshots were later heard, and their bodies were discovered lying in the street. It is alleged that Neo Jane Kgaba (38) shot and killed her partner, Dalindyebo Dineka (31), before turning the gun on herself.
Dineka reportedly sustained four gunshot wounds, while Kgaba suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Sello Maremane expressed deep sadness over the officers’ deaths, highlighting their dedication and commitment to public service.
The department is working closely with law enforcement to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
While the official investigation is ongoing, the initial reports suggest a potential murder-suicide incident. Gauteng police spokeswoman Colonel Noxolo Kweza confirmed that De Deur police are investigating a murder and suicide case.
