‘We can’t share power with the enemy’ – says EFF’s Malema

ANC's Government of National Unity Plan Sparks Rejection from Julius Malema

After failing to secure an outright majority, the ANC can no longer govern alone. ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that the ANC will invite other parties to form a government of national unity.

Ramaphosa named the parties the ANC has already held discussions with.

However, South African opposition leader Julius Malema of the EFF has rejected this decision.

Malema tweeted, “We can’t share power with the enemy,” referring to the DA, South Africa’s second biggest political party.

The EFF came fourth behind Jacob Zuma’s MK party, the DA, and the ANC, but none of them won a full mandate to govern the country.
