EFF Leader Julius Malema Mourns Tragic Loss of Party Member Electrocuted While Postering
Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), offered his condolences to the family of Lekometse Monama, an EFF member who tragically lost his life while attaching posters for the upcoming elections.
Monama was electrocuted while attempting to balance on a pole with an open cable carrying live current.
Malema expressed his sorrow over Monama’s passing on X, stating, “We have lost a brave and dedicated member of our movement.”

He extended his condolences to Monama’s loved ones and praised his service and sacrifice. Monama will be laid to rest at Ga Rakgwadi, Nebo village in Limpopo.
