To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (NQF Level 7) and at least 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years at middle management level and 3 years in Supply Chain Management.

Primary Function As the Senior Manager:

Finance Executive Support, your primary objective will be to provide support to the Finance Group to achieve its goals and objectives aligned with its operational, strategic, and/or business plans. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Group meets its operational and strategic responsibilities. In addition, you will conduct training and support to the departments within Finance to ensure adherence to the City Power policies and procedures. You will provide guidance and recommendations to ensure that all technical solutions are sound and aligned to the legislation and best industry practice.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Manager: Finance Executive Support, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing strategic leadership and direction to the department and ensuring the provision of the best practices to City Power and Finance
• Establishing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve the efficiency of a business
• Ensuring the effective monitoring and support of Supply Chain Performance (SCM) processes
• Reviewing documents, reports, and presentations to influence operational excellence
• Initiating strategies to develop and grow effective relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers
• Managing the Group to achieve the desired business performance and leading cost control activities to maximize efficiency.
