AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini’s first wife, Queen Ntokozo kaMayisela, has approached the court to interdict his royal wedding to Queen Nomzamo kaMayeni, planned for later this month.
The wedding, set for January 26 with an umkhehlo ceremony on January 24, marks the king’s first traditional Zulu wedding.
However, the court challenge comes as King Misuzulu is finalizing his divorce from Queen Ntokozo, citing irretrievable breakdown and prolonged separation.
