Malema vs Shivambu: War of Words Heats Up

The feud between EFF leader Julius Malema and former deputy Floyd Shivambu has reached new heights.
Malema warned Shivambu not to “push” him, hinting he could expose damaging secrets.
“I regarded him as my brother. If I must be challenged and pushed, I will talk. Don’t push me,” Malema said during a press briefing.
Their relationship, once rooted in brotherhood from their ANC Youth League days, has grown increasingly strained.
Shivambu recently described their bond as a mere political relationship, suggesting it bordered on toxic loyalty.

The fallout deepened after Malema claimed Shivambu sidelined him regarding his resignation and accused him of past misconduct, including chasing a school principal with a knife.
In response, Shivambu fired back, calling on Malema to address allegations about his academic credentials, the funding of renovations for his Sandton home, and his residency at Adriano Mazzotti’s Hyde Park property.
The public clash comes ahead of the EFF’s elective conference, where Shivambu’s departure will officially pave the way for new leadership.
