Pastor Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng made headlines after a video of him carrying a large cross went viral.
The symbolic gesture represents redemption and resilience, according to Mboro, following his recent arrest on charges including kidnapping, possession of dangerous weapons, and assault.
The charges stem from a dramatic August incident at Matshidiso Primary School in Katlehong, where Mboro, armed with pangas and a rifle, forcibly removed two children alleged to be his grandchildren.
Defending his actions, Mboro claimed the pangas were only used to unlock a gate and emphasized no harm was done.
Reflecting on his struggles, including an attack on his son Revival by 11 individuals, Mboro spoke of enduring challenges with unwavering faith. “Through the cross, I will conquer,” he declared.

Despite criticism, Mboro remains steadfast in his beliefs, describing the cross as a testament to overcoming injustice and life’s battles. “Even if I face this war alone… I will conquer it.”
