Controversial Music Exec Nota Baloyi Sentenced to 60 Days for Contempt of Court

Music executive and podcaster Nhlamulo Nota Baloyi, known for his outspoken views, has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for contempt of court.
This comes after Baloyi defied a court order obtained by rapper K.O, which instructed him to stop sharing claims linking K.O to the tragic assassination of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.

Baloyi’s arrest took place on Thursday at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court, where he was appearing on a separate rape charge.
The court order directed the Sheriff and South African Police Service to detain Baloyi and transport him to Leeuwkop Prison or another facility within Gauteng to serve his sentence.

The controversy began as Baloyi repeatedly accused K.O and his brother, Siya Mdluli, of being involved in AKA’s murder, despite K.O’s warnings to cease such statements.
