Matthew Lani, the TikTok personality known for falsely presenting himself as a doctor, recently shared details about his current struggles following his widely publicized arrest.
Lani was initially detained after claiming to be a doctor and offering medical consultations, a deception that prompted an investigation and led to his arrest.
Released on bail due to insufficient evidence, Lani has since been in and out of court. Now, a recent video of him on social media reveals the toll this scandal has taken.

Lani disclosed that he’s currently homeless and without a phone, noting that the incident left him without basic necessities, including his income and home.
Lani also shared that his mother has been deeply affected by the ordeal, experiencing depression and weight loss.
He explained that he’s now living in a shelter, working to save enough money to replace his lost phone. Despite the fallout, Lani insists in the video that he has done nothing wrong.
