Sekhukhune United’s Shaune Mogaila Surrenders After Fatal Tembisa Crash Involving Young Girl

Sekhukhune United player Shaune Mogaila has turned himself in following a tragic accident on Wednesday morning in Tembisa, where his BMW collided with a Hyundai Grand i10, claiming the life of a nine-year-old girl and injuring her mother and a 13-year-old neighbor.
The incident occurred around 7:30 am while the mother was driving the children to school.
According to Ekurhuleni metro police spokesperson Thabiso Makgato, Mogaila fled the scene but later surrendered at Rabie Ridge police station, sustaining only a minor bruise on his forehead.

Authorities report finding bottles of Don Julio alcohol, suspected cocaine powder, and cannabis edibles in Mogaila’s vehicle.
He now faces charges of culpable homicide, reckless and negligent driving, and fleeing the scene.
