Da L.E.S suffered a stroke in July, his birthday month, and has been recovering at home after a hospital stay.
On Friday, Burna Boy took to Instagram Stories to express his sadness, revealing that media personality Tbo Touch informed him of Da L.E.S’s condition.

Burna Boy, unable to be in South Africa, shared his heartfelt regret, writing, “My only pain right now is not being in South Africa with Da L.E.S.”
The Nigerian superstar has had a close relationship with Da L.E.S, and despite past challenges and tensions around xenophobia, his message shows a desire for healing.
Posting from his tour with Akon, he ended his note with a powerful call for unity, saying, “It’s time to fix this sh*t now.”
