A tragic incident unfolded in Namibia Square, Bloemfontein, on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old woman who was viciously attacked by four pitbulls.
The victim suffered severe injuries to her lower body and was found by police lying on the ground. Despite swift action by Emergency Health Services, she was declared dead at the scene.

In a subsequent response, police euthanized three of the pitbulls, while the fourth dog and its puppies were taken into custody by the local SPCA. The event has left the community in shock and mourning, raising concerns about the safety and regulation of keeping such breeds as pets.
