How Selfie Nearly Killed Former Miss South Africa Kerishnie Naicker

Former Miss South Africa, Kerishnie Naicker, recently shared the story of a freak accident that nearly cost her life.

While trying to take a selfie at Cape Point, she was accidentally tripped by a tourist, causing her to fall down a flight of stairs.

Naicker explained on social media that the tourist, while stepping backward to take a photo, bumped into her, sending her tumbling down two steps.

The accident left her with a serious leg injury, though she is grateful her head was unharmed.

Following the fall, Naicker was airlifted to Netcare Hospital, where she spent almost four months recovering.

She is now wheelchair-bound but remains optimistic as she undergoes rehabilitation to learn to walk again.
