Over 15,000 South Africans Sign Petition Against Chris Brown’s Concert
Chris Brown Faces Backlash in South Africa After Selling Out FNB Stadium in 2 Hours

Chris Brown is under fire from a South African organisation, Women For Change (WFC), after selling out FNB Stadium for his upcoming concert in just two hours.
The non-profit organisation has started a petition against the singer due to his past record as an abuser.
Women For Change, founded in 2016, advocates for women’s and children’s rights in South Africa.
The organisation focuses on raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence (GBV), femicide, and human rights, with the goal of promoting gender equality.
WFC took to Twitter to urge concert organisers and the South African government to reconsider allowing Chris Brown to perform in Johannesburg on 14 December 2024.
Their tweet asked people to sign the petition to stop the concert.

As of today, over 15,000 South Africans have signed the petition, showing strong support for the call to block the singer’s performance.

Hi, I’m just here to say Chris Brown is violent. You can go enjoy his show(as is your prerogative) but it doesn’t change that u’ve used ur money to support a violent & abusive man who has harmed multiple women (and men)🤷🏾♀️ And ur money & fandom empower him to escape accountability

Chris Brown’s concert in SA must happen, no matter what the confused hateful feminists say
His biggest crime was defending himself against a violent Rihanna
She started being violent, he retaliated, meaning they fought & he won. But still went on to apologize & serve sentences… pic.twitter.com/Rc0mnOXjrY
