Chris Brown Faces Backlash in South Africa After Selling Out FNB Stadium in 2 Hours

Chris Brown is under fire from a South African organisation, Women For Change (WFC), after selling out FNB Stadium for his upcoming concert in just two hours.

The non-profit organisation has started a petition against the singer due to his past record as an abuser.

Women For Change, founded in 2016, advocates for women’s and children’s rights in South Africa.

The organisation focuses on raising awareness about Gender-Based Violence (GBV), femicide, and human rights, with the goal of promoting gender equality.

WFC took to Twitter to urge concert organisers and the South African government to reconsider allowing Chris Brown to perform in Johannesburg on 14 December 2024.

Their tweet asked people to sign the petition to stop the concert.

As of today, over 15,000 South Africans have signed the petition, showing strong support for the call to block the singer’s performance.
