Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla Discusses Heritage and Growth of the MK Party

Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla shared her reflections on language, heritage, and the evolving political landscape in South Africa.
Expressing her struggles with isiZulu, she said, “I am sorry, I can’t speak isiZulu. I am a victim of Apartheid, so this is one of the things that happens; we don’t get to grow up in South Africa and learn our mother tongue, but I’m trying. I’m learning.”
Zuma-Sambudla also highlighted the growth of the MK Party, emphasizing its momentum:
“The MK Party is a growing party; I’m sure you can see it’s become a tsunami.”
She recounted a conversation with her father, former President Jacob Zuma, who spoke about the discipline he learned during his time in prison, which he credited for his survival.
