Desmond Tutu documentary set to capture the hearts of viewers

South African audiences are in for a treat as a new documentary series about the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu is set to hit screens soon.

This four-part documentary, titled The Arch, will explore the life of one of the country’s most iconic leaders, from his humble beginnings in apartheid-era South Africa to his role in shaping the nation’s democracy.

Created by Attuned You in partnership with Arena Holdings and the SABC, The Arch promises to give viewers a deep and emotional insight into the life of the Nobel Peace Prize winner.

The series will feature heartfelt interviews with those who knew him best, including family members and struggle veterans like Dr. Alan Boesak, Dr. Brigalia Bam, and Cheryl Carolus.

Producer Eddie Mbalo shares that the documentary will evoke a wide range of emotions, allowing audiences to connect with Tutu’s incredible journey.

Arena Holdings CEO, Pule Molebeledi, expressed excitement about sharing this powerful story with South Africa and the world.

The first episode is set to premiere on Sunday, 6 October at 21:30, promising to be both heartwarming and inspiring.
