15 Armed Men Sought for Murder and Robbery at Olivenhoutbosch Petrol Station

Authorities are on the hunt for 15 armed suspects involved in a brutal robbery and shooting at the Engen Garage on Marudi Street in Olivenhoutbosch.

The incident occurred around 03:40 when the group approached the petrol station, brandishing pistols and rifles.

Witnesses report that the suspects split into smaller groups, indiscriminately firing at petrol station workers and nearby community members.

Tragically, Anikie Machiba, a 34-year-old passenger in a passing vehicle, was shot and later declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Two additional victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were rushed to medical facilities for treatment.

The suspects executed a bomb attack on the drop-off safe within the store, fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and stolen items.

The police are urging anyone with information on the suspects to come forward as the community grapples with the aftermath of this violent incident.
