Deputy President Paul Mashatile made his first public appearance at the National Heritage Day event in Ficksburg after collapsing in Limpopo.
He was introduced by Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, who humorously referenced the incident.
McKenzie remarked, “A few weeks ago, you had an incident where you were falling, we were watching on TV the deputy president is falling, some people were falling when he was falling,” lightening the mood around Mashatile’s recovery.
The event marked a significant return for the Deputy President after his recent health scare.
