Lerato Mvelase Scores A Role In ‘House of Zwide’

Award-winning actress Lerato Mvelase is the latest addition to e.tv’s hit fashion telenovela House of Zwide.

She is set to make her first appearance on Monday, 23 September, playing Harriet, the baby mama of Msizi (played by Mduduzi Mabaso) and mother to Ayanda.

In the upcoming storyline, Msizi reconnects with his long-lost daughter, who was led to believe her father had passed away.

Harriet confronts him after learning he met their daughter without her knowledge, setting the stage for tense family drama.

Msizi, who is also the brother of Faith Zwide (Winnie Ntshaba), was recently released from prison and has returned to recover a hidden stash of money.

His return to the Zwide family will stir up unresolved issues from their past, as he becomes a major player in the future of the House of Zwide.

His financial backing will be key for Ona (Nefisa Mkhabela) and Nkosi Zwide (Wanda Zuma) as they navigate the future of the fashion house.

Mvelase’s role marks a major shift in the storyline, following the departure of Vusi Kunene’s character, Funani, and Mabaso’s debut in August 2024.
