Gauteng Police Seize R300 Million Worth of Drugs in Fourways Raid

In a major breakthrough, Gauteng police have seized drugs valued at R300 million during a raid in Fourways, Johannesburg.
This operation was linked to the kidnapping of a businessman earlier this month.
The raid, which took place at multiple locations, including a hotel in Eastgate, led to the arrest of eight suspects and the rescue of the kidnapped victim.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe praised the efforts of the team, highlighting that kidnapping cases are particularly challenging.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal syndicates in Gauteng.
