Malema to Silent EFF Leaders: “Leave Now”

EFF President Julius Malema has issued a strong message to party leaders who have remained silent following the resignation of Deputy President Floyd Shivambu last week.

Addressing the Gauteng ground forces forum on Monday, Malema urged those who are not actively defending the party in these challenging times to “leave now.”

Shivambu’s resignation has created turbulence within the party, sparking rumors that other prominent leaders, such as Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Advocate Dali Mpofu, might also be planning to exit.

Malema appeared aware of these rumors, expressing concern over the silence of typically vocal party members on social media.

Malema referenced section six of the EFF’s constitution, which demands that members and leaders show loyalty by speaking out when the party is under attack.

He questioned why those known for their outspoken nature were not defending the EFF during this critical period, labeling their silence as that of “silent enemies.”

He also criticized individuals who seem more focused on securing positions at the upcoming elective conference in December, suggesting that they may be opportunists waiting to see if they will emerge as leaders before deciding to stay with the party.

Malema’s pointed remarks seemed to be directed at Ndlozi, who is reportedly being considered for the position of secretary-general.

He concluded by challenging them to leave immediately, asserting that the EFF would continue to stand firm, even if it meant doing so alone.
